2. What we collect and why
Booking and payment information, collected through each location’s booking platform and payment processors, to reserve bays and process purchases.
Liability waiver information, including waivers for minors signed by a parent or guardian, to meet the facility use requirement in our terms.
Contact details and marketing consent records, to respond to you and to keep an accurate record of what you have and have not agreed to receive.
Lesson and program submissions, to schedule and deliver those services.
Email engagement data, such as whether a message was delivered or opened, to maintain list quality and stop sending to addresses that bounce.
Website analytics, to understand how the site is used.
Video surveillance on the premises, for safety and security (section 10).
3. Data sharing
Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
We share information with service providers only where it is necessary to operate our business, for example payment processing, booking, and email delivery. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us and may not use it for their own marketing.
We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
Administrative: access to customer information is limited to authorized personnel who need it to do their jobs. Access is granted by role, reviewed when a person’s role changes, and removed when a person leaves.
Technical: accounts holding customer information are protected by strong unique credentials, multi-factor authentication, and encryption of data in transit. Access to our systems is logged.
Physical: devices and records containing customer information are kept secured and are not left accessible to the public.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we review these safeguards as our systems change and take steps to prevent unauthorized sharing of the information you give us.
5. Email marketing
Marketing email is sent only with your consent. Consent is given through optional checkboxes on our forms and signups, which you can untick before submitting, and it is recorded per category. The categories are newsletter, offers, and events and announcements; you can consent to any of them independently.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link to the preference center, which is the mechanism for changing or withdrawing email consent per category. For text messages, the STOP mechanism in section 6 applies.
6. Text messaging
By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive text messages from Island Greens regarding account notification and customer care. Where you separately consent to marketing texts, we also send marketing messages; that consent is captured separately, per category (newsletter, offers, and events and announcements), and can be withdrawn at any time.

Records are kept for as long as they are needed for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining signed waivers, honoring consent and unsubscribe choices, and meeting legal and accounting obligations. A request to delete personal information can be sent to the contact addresses below.
